HMU-140P adopts the horizontal moving column structure, carrying the gear transmission turntable with high rigidity and big torque and the single pendulum milling head, which is independently developed by AFMING. 1, Adopting a Moving Column Structure
- HMU140P horizontal five axis simultaneous machining center adopts a dynamic column structure, and the high rigidity mechanical linkage swing headswings along the X-axis to form the A-axis. The turntable rotates around the Y-axis to form the B-axis.
- The three axes are all high-precision ball screw + roller guide structures. The Y-axis counterweight is a high- precision hydraulic balance system with excellent response performance.
- Each linear axis is equipped with a HEIDENHAIN linear grating. The feed system is good, eliminating the problem of rapid wear of the Y-axis screw caused by gravity. During the system design, by increasing the natural frequency of the mechanical feed system, the cutoff frequency of the entire electromechanical drive system is increased and the lag of the mechanical feed system is reduced, which greatly increases the position loop gain KV value,effectively shortening the positioning time, minimizing and improving Contour accuracy during surface machining. The Y- xis is directly connected to the roller screw and motor. The Z/X axis is driven by a motor synchronous belt connected to a ball screw.

The HMU-140P turntable adopts patented mechanical transmission GTRT technology, which achieves stronger torque output, higher rigidity stability, and better rotation accuracy than conventional turntable drives.
The A/B axis is a high-rigidity gear anti-backlash transmission, and the slewing bearing is a YRT combined roller bearing. The mechanical transmission has transmission stiffness that is unmatched by the torque motor-driven turntable. It is the best choice for processing difficult to-cut materials such as aerospace titanium alloys and high temperature alloys. The brake is a large-sized disc brake driven by high-pressure oil, which eliminates the axis deflection defect of ordinary surround brakes. It is equipped with high-precision Heidenhain linear grating as standard.
